KANEKOME TANAKASUISAN CO.,LTD. began fishing with bottom trawlers about 75 years ago.
We have carried out everything from fishing to processing and sales in the Sea of Okhotsk area.
At the time of our founding, we mainly processed salmon and cod, but recently we have been developing the global market with a focus on scallops.

History
1948
Founder Kyusuke Tanaka established a seafood processing factory as
KANEKOME TANAKASHOUTEN. He became a franchise store owner after he worked
for many years at the seafood company “Kanekome”.
1984
The organization was reorganized into a stock company and renamed
KANEKOME TANAKASUISAN CO.,LTD. due to business expansion.
1995
New scallop factory completed, new tunnel freezer installed here
2001
Obtained HACCP certification for the US (scallop factory)
2005
Introduced frozen scallop automatic sorting machine,
Introduced frozen scallop automatic measuring machine,
apartment for apprentices completed
2015
Acquired EU HACCP certified facility, Vietnam certified facility,
China certified facility registration (scallop factory)
